Christmas Week-eve

The pots and pans cupboard, AKA Addy's favorite play place.

Waiting to catch the inevitable topple-backwards-and-hit-your-head

A giant, tall baby

In front of the lights that we were too cheap to pay $10/person to see. This view was free.

Crawling with a purpose

Good view of all four teeth!

Embarking on her adventure, a la "Entering the wardrobe"

Her favorite toy to find in the cupboard: a plastic piece to the food processor. (the blades are not in this cupboard, just pots and plastic)

Just can't wait till Christmas!

NY comes to Houston

Helllooo planes!

Exploring the Battleship Texas, before dodging battleship-sized mosquitos.

The Burton ladies love battleships

The monument may or may not be a few feet taller than the Washington Monument.

It took traveling to Texas, but Lynne is mastering the rodeo sport of Child Wranglin'

After having a father with a similarly impressive beard, Santa was no big deal.

Getting pumped up pre-game at NRG Stadium!

From which Grandmother did she inherit perfect photo timing?

"When I am older, I shall play the trombone."  - Addy

Addy loves her cousin Fox... especially his nose.

We miss these cousins.

Juniper and Adelaide - meant to be together.

Backseat buddies on our drive across Houston.

At least Matthew is smiling :)

Saying goodbye to some fun Texas Burtons.

"And where is your seat mother?"

Welcome to December!

Some of these are from last week when I couldn't get them to post to blogger...

Happy helping Christmas elf

BEADS! beads beads beads...

Drawn to the tree

Addy LOVES plunking out keys on the piano

She also loves pushing the piano bench back and forth, back and forth. I'm sure our downstairs neighbor loves it.

Helping dad install some cabinet safety latches

First bath in the bathtub at home. We couldn't justify using the sink anymore because if she stands up she hits her head on the cupboard.

Okay, apologies if this is offensive, but it's just so cute!

Helping dad with the chores

She can walk pretty effectively if she wants to. The key is to bribe her with the right thing. So far, remotes, computers, phones, and the garbage can work the best.
