I listened to a podcast where she talked about "outer order bringing inner calm." One of the anecdotes was about a woman who said, "I just cleaned out my fridge. Now I feel like I can change careers."
Our fridge was fairly empty after babysitting for a few days, so I cleaned everything before filling it again.
Distracted Addy then tried a new hairstyle.
It lasted nine minutes, even with Daniel Tiger going.
The Vietnamese spring rolls we made--really good and fresh and surprisingly easy. We had a peanut dipping sauce as well.
The pad thai that would have been good if the noodles weren't bad.
Addy and her crocodile.
We stayed here for a long time.
A play tunnel at the zoo. Addy was upset that every animal house didn't have a tunnel. She would walk right past the animals crying for a tunnel.
Oh hey giraffe.
Some of the beautiful tulips
And a beautiful girl.
Laughing at the baby gorilla who kept coming up to the window.
The "onion volcano" part of our hibachi dinner.
Chalk it up to pregnancy cravings, but I have been wanting seven-layer dip for weeks!
Addy and her garden. (Radish and lettuce sprouts behind her, plus several colorful popsicle sticks for her to move around at will.)
First ice cream cone. This is her "cheese" face.
Watching the mascot races
Addy and Scoopie!
Addy's new favorite chicken nugget dipping sauce. I bought it for pad thai but it's basically sweet and sour sauce in a bottle.
Enjoying the spring weather on our deck!
